How AI credits work

Every AI action (summarize, suggest reply, classify, translate, etc.) uses 1 credit. Advanced actions like Workflow Discovery, KB Insights, and Product AI use 3 credits per run. Store Intelligence is always free — it uses smart aggregation, not AI tokens. Product AI is available on the Business plan and up. Need more? Add-on packs start at €10 for 5,000 extra credits.

Billing through Shopify

When you install InboxServe from the Shopify App Store, your subscription is created and managed through Shopify's Billing API. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the Plans page inside the InboxServe app — no extra checkout, no separate credit card.

Frequently asked questions

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.

What happens if I exceed my limits?

You'll receive warnings at 80% and 100%. After hitting the limit, there's a 48-hour grace period. Purchase add-on packs or upgrade.

How do I pay for InboxServe?

Billing runs through Shopify. After you install InboxServe from the Shopify App Store and pick a plan, Shopify creates a recurring app charge and adds it to your regular Shopify invoice. Your existing Shopify payment method is reused — no separate checkout, no extra credit card. All prices are listed excluding VAT; Shopify adds applicable VAT to the invoice.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Monthly or annual billing through Shopify, with no lock-in. Cancel any time by changing your plan from Settings → Billing inside InboxServe, or by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes! Save up to 17% with annual billing. All plans offer both monthly and annual options.

What counts as an AI credit?

Each AI action uses 1 credit. Workflow Discovery, KB Insights, and Product AI use 3 credits each. Store Intelligence is always free.

What is Product AI?

Product AI is an AI-powered analysis of your products' health using Shopify orders, refunds, return requests, and support conversations. It surfaces the products that are creating refunds, returns, or support pressure and gives you concrete recommendations like 'add a size guide' or 'audit packaging supplier'. Available on the Business and Enterprise plans (3 AI credits per analysis run).
